This road connects the municipalities Sagnay (Camarines Sur) and Tiwi (Albay). When traveling from Naga to Legazpi or Tabaco it is a very nice alternative route. At about 26 km the road follows the mountinous coastline at the Lagonoy Gulf. It is one of the most beautiful roads I have ever seen. The views from the mountains to Atulayan Islands are unforgettable. Since a couple of years the road is completely restored and in a very good condition. All wooden bridges from before are replaced by concrete constructions. The Legaspi photos where taken at a hill opposite the airport. It is very near to the Wildlife Park. When coming from Daraga, at the tennis court take a left turn, you will reach the top of the hill by car. |
