Travel Informations Goa / Philippines
From Manila:
There are Philippine Airlines flights from Manila to the airport of Naga / Pili. The flight time is approx. 40 minutes. We reccomend to hire one of the private taxis. It is a 45 km trip on good roads and it takes about 45 minutes.
Travelling by public transport: Proceed by tricycle to the main road ( 500
meters from the airport). Wait at the opposite side for a bus or jeepney with
one of these destinations: Goa, San Jose, Lagonoy or
Sabang. You must leave the bus or jeepney in the town center of Goa. From
there you take a tricycle or trimobile.
A bustrip from Manila to Goa takes approx. 8 - 10 hours traveltime. Some of the best bus companies have
their terminal in Manila at the back of Araneta Center, Cubao. These bus
lines are: Isarog, AMA, Philtranco, Cul and Peñafrancia tours.
Departures daily at 7 p.m., 7.30 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Morning trips at 7 a.m.
and 8 a.m. There are also many Bicol - bound bus terminals at EDSA Baclaran.
Please note that all aircon buses are no smoking and during
the trip there are only 2 or 3 stops for eating etc. The toilets at these restaurants
are eventually of very poor sanitary standard!
Via Legaspi City
There are also direct flights from Cebu and Mindanao to Legaspi City and
public transport from Legaspi City to Goa (approx 115 km):
At Legaspi airport take a tricycle to the Naga Bus Terminal. Take a bus with destination Naga or Manila. Tell the conductor that you must leave the bus in Anayan. There you take a bus or jeepney with one of these destinations: Goa, San Jose, Lagonoy or Sabang.
